The department has successfully conducted a number of demonstrations of great artists of Shahjahanpur as well as of other places. Occasionally exhibitions & competitions are held in the department in which quite a large number of students participated activily which brings competitive attitude among the students.

                The department also runs some short professional courses such as - Artificial Bonsai (2 months), Oil Painting (2months), Pot making (1 month), Textile Printing (20 days), Block Printing (15 days), Ekabana - Chinese flowers arrengements (15 days) & Candle Making (10 days).

                The Department offers a 3 years B.A. degree in Drawing and Painting. Eligibility is Intermediate with drawing as a subject, securing at least 45% marks in aggregate
