The Department of Urdu, Gandhi Faiz-e-Aam College, Shahjhanpur organized Urdu Day, and a Special Guest Lecture on 13.11.2018. The lecture was delivered by the guest speaker Dr. Iftikhar Ahmad on the topic entitled “Urdu Ghazal ke Aham kirdar”. A large number of B.A. & M.A Students along with other academia participated in the program.
The Department of Urdu, Gandhi Faiz-e-Aam College, Shahjhanpur arranged a Food Festival on 26.11.2018. Zoha Khan, Farzana, Sayera, Shahana, Perveen, Noorma, Shama, Shadab, Noor Bee, Ferheen Akhtar participated in the programme.

The Department of Urdu, Gandhi Faiz-e-Aam College, Shahjhanpur celebrated the New Education policy and organized the “National New Education Week -2019” on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti from 26 September to 02 October 2019.The students of B.A.& M.A along with other academia participated in the program.
The Urdu Department organized Urdu Day and National Education Day programme on 19.11.2019. A large number of UG and PG students participated in the programme.
The Department of Urdu, Gandhi Faiz-e-Aam College, Shahjhanpur arranged a Food Festival on 27.11.2019. The students of B.A.& M.A. participated in the program.
Academic Session (2020-21)
The Department of Urdu Gandhi Faiz-e-Aam College, Shahjhanpur organized a Webinar entitled “Allama Iqbal Ki Assri Manuviat”on the occasion of Urdu Day on 7.11.2020. The students of B.A. & M.A along with other academia participated in the program.On this occasion, two reputed guestspeakers Dr.Hafeez-u-Rahman (JNU, New Delhi) and Dr. Jamshaid Ahmad delivered their insightful lectures on the topic, which were very useful for all academia.
The Department of Urdu, Gandhi Faiz-e-Aam College, Shahjhanpur has been conducting “Amozish” (One-Year Urdu Learning Programme) for the students since 2016. The course has been completed by 250 students since its inception.
